Dentist convicted of hiring hit men to kill brother-in-law in 2014

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (TCD) -- A jury convicted a 47-year-old man this week of conspiring to kill his brother-in-law, who was fatally shot in his driveway in 2014. Leon County court records show Charlie Adelson was convicted of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and solicitation to commit first-degree murder in connection with the death of Dan Markel. The Tallahassee Democrat reports the jury came to their decision about the verdict in about three hours.
