Pair sentenced for kidnapping Ark. teen in an attempt to extort money from her family

CONWAY, Ark. (TCD) -- A judge recently sentenced two individuals from Tennessee for kidnapping and threatening a 17-year-old girl in an attempt to extort money from her family in 2022. On Thursday, Nov. 2, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Arkansas announced that the Honorable Chief Judge Susan Hickey sentenced 40-year-old Samuel Bolling Jr. to life in prison and his co-defendant, 21-year-old Dayla Ferrer, to 15 years in prison.
