BATON ROUGE, La. (TCD) -- Police arrested a 37-year-old woman this week who allegedly beat an elderly victim to death during a dispute about the suspect's boyfriend. The Baton Rouge Police Department alleges that on Thursday, Nov. 2, Denise Law killed 66-year-old Melinda Reed at 3532 Riverway Drive. Reed sustained severe injuries to her head and face and was transported to a local hospital, where police said she later died.
